Creativity has always been the thread that weaves through every chapter of my life—it’s what connects fashion to interiors, commerce to storytelling, and business to heart.
I’ve always been artsy, crafty, dabbling in some sort of creative endeavor. I started my career journey in Montreal at Collège LaSalle, where I studied fashion design before leaving halfway through the program to step directly into the industry. I started as a production assistant for a manufacturing company, liaising with overseas factories and learning the foundations of how fashion truly comes to life. I later transitioned into the role of Creative Director, where I built and curated seasonal collections for major Canadian brands including The Bay, Simons, Les Ailes de la Mode, and others. It was fast-paced, demanding, and exhilarating—but life had other plans.
I stepped away from the chaos of the fashion world to raise my babies in the Mont-Tremblant region, embracing a quieter season rooted in family and nature. Eventually, I returned to my Ottawa-area roots and shifted into government, where I scrambled up the corporate ladder to the position of Director. Not bad for a fashion school drop out, hunh? While deeply fulfilling in a different way, the creative pull never left - and even in a role where it seemed like I could check off the “successful career” box, I was almost 40 and still asking myself the proverbial question “what do I want to be when I grow up?”
Then, in one fell swoop, it felt like someone had pulled the carpet out from under me and I was in freefall. A restructuring at work, the dissolution of my 18 year relationship and navigating a teen through the joys of hormones and highschool… all in the midst of a global pandemic…it was interesting and challenging times, to say the least.
Feeling too tender for the job hunt, I was helping out at a friends’ restaurant and liked connecting with clients instead of navigating a political environment and playing the bureaucracy game. I dabbled with the idea of partnering in or purchasing a small boutique, but couldn't stomach the risks of bricks and mortar. With nothing else to cling to, I took a leap of faith—literally driving seven hours to purchase a vintage camper. Over the next two months, my father and I would transform that rusty, hole ridden carcass into a traveling pop-up shop. Featuring curated vintage finds and locally made artisan goods, I suddenly felt like I was getting oxygen again, finding my footing. That bold adventure reignited my creative flame and sparked everything that followed. Through that project came my first design job, and from there, momentum grew quickly.
I began by transforming blank investment properties into warm, character-rich Airbnbs, learning how thoughtful design could completely reshape a space—and an experience. From there, I naturally evolved into residential interior design and eventually into professional staging. Today, my business has grown into three connected portfolios:
an interior design & staging firm,
a boutique,
and a creative studio workspace designed to inspire makers and entrepreneurs.
My favorite projects are the most personal ones—working with people and families to thoughtfully curate spaces using their memorabilia, collected treasures, and meaningful objects. I believe the most beautiful homes are not just styled, but lived in, layered, and loved. And, I can now answer the ever-lingering question of “what do I want to be when I grow up” with a firm “I want to be ME.”

I began working with Kate in 2023, stepping fully into the world of interior styling and décor—a passion I’ve had since childhood. I’ve always been drawn to the feeling of walking into a new space and noticing how layout, texture, and design choices shape the experience. Today, turning that passion into my career is something I’m truly grateful for. Working alongside Kate has been incredibly inspiring; she’s been a mentor who continually shares her knowledge, encourages my creativity, and challenges me to grow in the best ways. My design eye leans toward neutral tones, modern lines, and creating spaces that feel calm, thoughtful, and beautifully intentional. I bring a quiet but caring presence to my work, focusing on the small details that help a house feel like home.
